Open Letter to Members of the Province of Santa Fe meeting on Saturday August 16 in the auditorium of Radio Nacional de Rosario, continuing with the meetings for discussion and elaboration of proposals: "For an effective democracy embodied in the redistribution of wealth", we discussed on this occasion on the theme "Media and Broadcasting Act. " In this regard, we express to all citizens a summary of some key principles agreed at this meeting:
• The communication is a public good and social.
• A deeper democracy in modern times has as one of its founding principles: to communicate as a human right and service public.
• The state must guarantee this right allowing the expression of multiple voices in the media system, promoting a system of ownership in the media truly mixed, consisting of commercial, civil society organizations, nonprofit and a public-state network NGO.
· Encourage mechanisms for citizen participation in regulatory bodies, monitoring and implementation of the new law on audiovisual media services.
• The regulation in the field of information technology and communication, together with the process digitization of the system should focus on the legislative aspects towards decentralizing the system, providing free services and enable the multiplicity of voices.
· Aval, adhesion and promotion of the 21 points of the Citizens' Initiative "Coalition for a Democratic Broadcasting."
